MechanicsStrength and Hanging
Why grip is a timer, how strength extends it and what breaks a hang.
Read →Updated 2026-10-26Catch a Plane is a Roblox experience from the group Oi_iO where the whole game is one ridiculous idea: you jump at an aircraft that is already moving, grab it, and it drags you across the sky while you try not to let go. It went live on 7 October 2026, was updated on 25 October 2026, and the listing carries the [Upd 1] tag. Everything here is written against that build; if a number stops matching your game, the pass table and update log are the pages that change first.
The description reads like a joke and turns out to be a design document. Jump, grab a passing plane, hang on. Train your strength to hold on longer. Upgrade your gloves to grab faster and heavier planes. Open gear boxes for jetpacks, parachutes and Gravity Wings. Reach the finish, earn trophies, unlock new worlds. That is the game, and every guide here is one corner of it taken seriously.
Before your first flight
- Treat grip as a timer, not a health bar. Strength buys seconds in the air; gloves buy the planes worth those seconds.
- Read the plane before you commit. Gloves let you grab heavier planes, which only matters if planes differ in how hard they are to catch. Watch a few pass first.
- Do not spend your first Cash on multipliers. A x2 Power pass doubles a small number; a glove upgrade raises what you can catch at all.
- Open gear boxes early. Jetpacks, parachutes and Gravity Wings come out of boxes and are the only air-movement tools the game advertises.
- One code exists, in the description:
oiio10k. There is no list to grind. - Servers hold 10 players. A small server is not a dead server; it is the design.
The official loop
| Step | What the game asks | What decides the outcome |
|---|---|---|
| Jump | Leave the ground as a plane passes | Reading the approach line |
| Grab | Take hold of the aircraft | Gloves: grab faster and heavier planes |
| Hang | Stay attached as it drags you | Strength: hold on longer |
| Finish | Arrive at the end of the run | Distance per successful hang |
| Collect | Earn trophies, unlock worlds | Trophies gate the worlds, not Cash |

How to read this site
Never played: How to Play then the Beginner Guide then Controls for the camera and timing.
Keep getting thrown off: Strength and Hanging covers the grip timer; Progression covers why the fix is training, not spending.
About to spend Robux: Game Passes lists all 17 with official prices, Zones and Worlds the three zone unlocks, Codes the one free thing.
Every page follows one rule: prices and names come from Roblox's own game-pass data, mechanics from the developer's description, and anything the game has not published is left out rather than guessed.
